EMPOWERING GIRLS
IN BUSINESS

Business Herizon works to support and spotlight young female entrepreneurs in Toronto, with a focus on those with immigrant or refugee backgrounds. We provide a platform for entrepreneurs to share their stories, a resource page that lists accessible opportunities, and are working towards building our mentorship program.

PITCH
COMPETITION

We will be hosting our first business pitch competition for female high school students at Havergal College on May 25, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Sign up now for the early bird discount!

Community

We value the network of entrepreneurs, mentors, mentees, and creatives who make Business Herizon possible. Access to a tight-knit community of passionate and hard working individuals is pertinent to the journey of an entrepreneur. We encourage you to engage with members of the Business Herizon network, whether it be through the mentor-mentee program, conferences, events, or social media.

Mentorship

The Business Herizon Mentorship Program pairs established entrepreneurs (mentors) with ones who are in an earlier process of starting their business (mentees). Mentors typically help mentees set business goals/timelines, track business progress and development, schedule check-ins, and celebrate mentee milestones/successes.

Resources

Business Herizon believes in maximizing accessibility and creating equal opportunities for young entrepreneurs to reach their goals. That's why we've curated a resources page: a collection of various organizations, opportunities, etc. related to business and entrepreneurship. Make your way to our Resources page to check it out.
